CHANDIGARH: A frustrated Navjot Singh Sidhu may quit politics for being repeatedly ignored by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in key decision making processes, his wife Navjot Kaur hinted.
The cricketer-turned-politician feels "suffocated" by being sidelined in the party and may not contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2014, she said.
Navjot Kaur also alleged that Sidhu is being pressurised to support corruption. Kaur had earlier posted on her Facebook account saying, "How can you let an honest leader survive? One who does not believe in corruption, does not support criminals, does not become party to commission system, what good can he do to party? So, finally you pair up to push him aside, make him feel suffocated in the system."
