Three unique and delicious dessert recipes from THE DAILY MEAL.
Karen PetersenSlow Cooker Coconut Nutella Pudding Cake
-Karen Petersen, The Daily Meal
Fact: Anything with Nutella is awesome. Need I say more? This cake is decadent, delicious, and perfect with vanilla ice cream. Or better yet, with coconut ice cream. That would be awesome. Five stars - double it, if you're having company.

Eric Roth PhotographyBaked Apple Dumpling Pie
- Ken Haedrich, The Daily Meal
If this pie sounds like a cross between baked apples and apple dumplings, well, it is. It's baked with a top pastry only, which molds itself around the apples so handsomely that I don't even bother to invert the pie, lest the pastry vanish beneath the apples. I use Golden Delicious apples here because they hold their shape well. They're halved, cored, and placed in the pan in a pool of melted butter, brown sugar, and raspberry preserves. A raisin-brown sugar-walnut mixture is spooned into the hollowed cores, à la baked apples, then the pastry is draped over the top, and the pie is baked. Since this bakes up in individual mounds, you don't slice it like a regular pie. Rather, you scoop out the mounds - which look like halved apple dumplings - and serve them with the pan juices. Excellent alone, but even better with chilled Vanilla Custard Sauce.

Gina BakerDessert Grilled Cheese Recipe
-Gina Baker, The Daily Meal
Grilled cheese has long been one of my "comfort foods." It is a pretty good combination, bread and cheese. So I was thinking, why not add chocolate?
Mini Grilled Cheese Sandwiches Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
-3 tablespoons cream cheese
-3 tablespoons chocolate hazelnut spread, preferably Nutella
-2 slices bread
-1 banana, cut in half and sliced in half lengthwise
-2 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat the broiler to high.
Spread the cream cheese on 1 slice of bread, and the chocolate-hazelnut on the other slice of bread. Place the bananas on 1 slice. Butter the outer sides of the slices of bread. Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and broil in the oven, flipping over halfway through, until both sides are golden brown, about 5-10 minutes.
